You are Cordially Invited to Present your organizational or business services, programs or events during the Carolina B2b Business Networking Sessions.

Your (two to five minute) presentation is designed to cause or inspire the attending corporate leaders and the fifty organizational attendees to respond or react positively to your request.
Sharing your five-minute presentation will increase your customer or supporter-base and expose your project or needs to local decision-makers.

The fifty small businesses and nonprofits in attendance will provide you with an effective opportunity to build relationships, discuss and showcase your organization while gaining an understanding of the attendees’ specific needs and how you can serve each of them individually.

The primary purpose of the business networking sessions is to make all resources available to all local small businesses and nonprofits in one central location and on one central communication’s platform.

The Carolina Media Arts Center’s production teams will provide any assistance you need to ensure that you deliver a flawless presentation to the group and the world (first impressions are critical and ever-lasting)!

WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE CENTER

Pease arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your presentation or segment.

Arrive 30-minutes prior to your segment if you have pop-up displays or audio-visuals to test.

Your personal assistant will escort you to your table and assist you with your setup.

Definition
The Five Minute Presentation is designed for small business owners who want to improve their presentation and selling skills. Participants will receive valuable media, business, insights and guidance from the B2B mentors and industry experts, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver a compelling pitch for this event and prospective customers and investors.

Eligibility Criteria
Presentations are open to all applicants who meet the following criteria:

The applicant must be 18 years of age or older.

Your business, organization, program or event must be approved for presentation and funding (see businesses and organizations not served).
-
The applicant must have an operating business. Applicants in the prestart, concept or ideation stage of business will be counseled and prepared to make a professional presentation by the production team.

The applicant's existing business must be based within the US.
-
Additionally, each participant must be a B2B or CMAC client or member to be eligible to receive an award. All applicants will be paired with a mentor to meet these criteria.

Liability
Contestants agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Carolina Media Arts Center LLC, its members, its affiliates and its representatives from and against any liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from their registration and participation in the pitch competition or from any funding or investments resulting from your presentation.
Photo/Video Waiver
By providing your electronic signature on the pitch application, you permit The Carolina Media Arts Center to:

Release information in the pitch application and any attachments to publicly share news of your relationship with The Pitch Competition and your small business successes.

Contact you for possible media/interview opportunities to promote small business successes and The Carolina Media Art's assistance to your success.

Use your name, business name, images, videos, quotes, and other provided information for national or local marketing campaigns, materials, and messaging.
