Prize Guarantor, Sponsor
Dear banking Leader,
Your bank is invited to serve as the Official Prize Guarantor and Business Networking Sponsor for the $10,000 Pitch Competition, presented by the Carolina Media Arts Center and the first group of fifty small businesses and nonprofits.
This type of sponsorship does not require a payment or disbursement of any funds. This $10,000 Prize Sponsorship money never leaves your bank account. The event is seeking a financial-institution-partner for guidance and counsel.
As a “prize guarantor” of the ten thousand dollars, your company is simply publicly committing to “guaranteeing” these funds for twenty-one to thirty days while the thirty local television, radio and media professionals are registering the required fifty contestants needed for the contest and the television show.
After twenty-one days the guarantor on these funds are released and your company is the official sponsor of the $10,000 Pitch Competition.
The actual $10,000 that is paid-out to the winners is collected during registration and paid-out after the contest.
Business owners and nonprofits will “rush-to-register” for this contest because the registration fee includes a unique package of media, business and funding services (valued at $2,000) that will help start, sustain and grow their organization (the professionals and students in the Media Arts Academy provides these services).
The advertising campaign will state that fifty contestants are required to be registered in twenty-one days or the contest will be cancelled, and the registration fees will be returned to the contestants. The thirty media companies are financially invested in the success of acquiring the fifty contestants because their companies will also serve these same fifty small businesses. Acquiring the fifty contestants is also how our media partners receive their payment for advertising this event.
The Network has its first fifty contestants for the first month’s competition.
The primary purpose of the $10,000 Pitch Competition is to serve as a fundraising vehicle for the groups of fifty organizations participating in the contest and the business networking sessions.
The primary purpose of your bank’s participation is to interact-with and serve the groups of fifty small businesses and nonprofits who are contracted and dedicated to use your bank to expend the funds they receive through the network.
We appreciate all that you do for the community. We would be honored to share the details of a proposed agreement that will fund hundreds of nonprofits, small businesses and students and serve as a major networking source for your company.
